Mr. Marner started his law school education in 1989 but it was interrupted by his service in Kuwait as a Sergeant with the United States Marines Corps in Operation Desert Storm. Upon returning to the United States, he received his law degree from California Western School of Law in 1993.

After graduation, he joined the King County Prosecutors Office in Seattle, Washington where he remained until 1996.

Mr. Marner served as the President of the King County Prosecuting Attorneys Association from 1995 to 1996.

In 1997, he returned to Tucson and joined the firm of Shultz and Rollins, Ltd. where he began representing injured individuals. The last 11 years he has focused his practice in personal injury, automobile accidents, product liability, wrongful death and medical malpractice.

Mr. Marner is a member of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association, the Pima County Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.
